What has this country come to when you can’t even stop to help a fellow citizen who appears to be in distress. What a very sad situation.

@John Everatt: What has this country come to? “A fool’s paradise”. You don’t do this nowhere in the world, I can’t give account for what happens on the other planets.

He would have to be at the mill, or at the family who owns the goat’s pens. Otherwise what could he have been doing in that area after dark? Sees a man jogging, appears to fall and he gets out to check on him? In Morgan Lewis St. Andrew around
8:25 pm? The police must be laughing at this? This needs to be thoroughly investigated. The car is probably burnt, and the crime reported for insurance purposes.

Someone who knows the Morgan Lewis area like I do, tell me otherwise, but I ain’t stopping down there for no stranger during the day, furthermore at 8:25 pm.
Let me hear the comments on this one, and not from you John Everatt because you is a ratt from another planet.

After being warned over and over not to do those kinds of things he fell for it. He only has himself to blame. He should have closed his eyes and step on the gas. The person(s) would now be counting their lucky stars.

PUBLIC FLOGGING FOR ALL WHO ARE GUILTY:

Drastic times call for Drastic measures.

The Government is failing and almost impotent.
The criminal know this and take their cue from the hapless black slug.
The criminal element knows that the Government is weak
    This weakness inspires criminal.

The DLP and its ceremonial Prime Minister need to call the elections. Every day the Elections not called , Barbados goes further down .

This is bare foolishness from Stuart and that GANG.

@Luther You are so blinded by politics that your ability to think sensibly and rationally has totally fled you what does an incident like this has to do with any Government? This story like the rhetoric you are spewing seems to be nothing more than a canard to me.

This seems suspicious to me, thirty-one years of age a car valued at $155,000.00 out driving in probably one of the darkest areas in the country at night, saw a late night jogger who apparently fell to the ground and stopped to inquire. Did he disembark? Or inquired from within his car? There are some grey areas here were these men in possession of flammable substances to so quickly burn the car? Why steal a car and burn it along the same road? It appears that these culprits came prepared to burn a car rather than use it for an effective getaway. I am no Sherlock Holmes but this one needs thorough investigation.

The Government of the Day must take the blame.

They create the enabling environment for CRIME.

I know for a FACT that the doings of public figures can influence the actions of ordinary people. Politicians , Entertainers, Sports people can and do influence behaviours

@luther thorne: You seem to have one of those unique eye, and brain defects that B L P supporters suffer every five years.

The only cure for that illness was Owen, and you all decided to quit the production of his medicine. Now persons like you can’t see the difference between human behavior and economic hardships. I have traveled the island to every B L P spot meeting to hear if the party have anything on offering. Sadly you seem to be attending those meetings too, because all the B L P is offering the people is the same blame game the D L P has offered us. Surely you all will blame the D L P for everything that happens in the country. I actually blame them for the comments you make here because its they who granted the media license to Barbados today.

You need to focus on your party’s folly, they think transporting supporters from every corner of the island in their red shirts to spot meetings to produce a crowd is campaigning. Yes I can say it happens, because your party has been infiltrated by some neutrals. We don’t support you or the Dees, but we wear your shirts, board your buses to see what you have to offer, your posters placed on the poles, have been destroyed by the elements. Even the natural elements are speaking against you because God knows that this blessed land of ours don’t need the B L P at this juncture. Your ideas cupboard is barren, you all don’t know what to do. We have also infiltrated your canvassing teams to see what you have to offer, and you have nothing, but blaming the government, the same way they’re blaming you all.
