A building contractor, accused of the theft, walked out of court a free man this morning after the complainant dropped the two charges.

Roger Randolph Waterman, of Boscobel Terrace, St Peter, appeared before the No.1 District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court charged with stealing $5,929.55 from Nikita Forde on July 28, 2016.

It was also alleged that sometime between July 25, 2016 and August 25, 2017, Waterman stole $1, 400 also belonging to Forde.

However when the accused appeared before Magistrate Douglas Frederick this morning, Forde informed the court that she was no longer interested in pursuing the matter.
