Barber pleads not guilty to wounding charge

A 47-year-old barber was released on $3,000 bail today after appearing before a Bridgetown magistrate on a wounding charge.

Ambia Ross Hunte, of No. 26, Golden Rock, Pinelands, St Michael, is accused of unlawfully and maliciously wounding Kashif Niles on December 28.

He pleaded not guilty before Magistrate Douglas Frederick.

Hunte, who represented by attorney-at-law Ryan Moseley, is due to re-appear in the No. 2 District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court on April 18.

Until then, he has been ordered to stay away from his alleged victim.
