Herbert transferred from ‘Mental’ to Dodds

A 55-year-old St Michael man, who spent the last three weeks at the Psychiatric Hospital being evaluated, has been transferred to Her Majesty’s Prison Dodds.

Terry Alphonsa Herbert, of Alkins Land, Eagle Hall, is accused of damaging a motorcar belonging to Anderson Niles.

He was remanded to the Black Rock institution on December 4 after pleading guilty to the charge and rambling in his explanation to Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant.

However, when he re-appeared in the District ‘A’ Court today Magistrate Douglas Frederick was the presiding officer.

His sentencing was therefore delayed until January 18 to allow Cuffy-Sargeant to complete the adjudication process.
