Police search for missing St Michael teenager

Police are searching for a 14-year-old girl who has been missing for almost a week.

She is Destiny Meisha Haynes-Harris of #67 Lodge Crescent, Eden Lodge, St Michael.

She was last seen by her mother Merisha Haynes who lives at 1st Avenue, Farnum Land, Chapman Lane around 4:10 p.m.,  last Thursday, December 21 when she left the mother’s house to go to the shop.

At the time she was wearing a long, light blue jeans pants, a pink armhole shirt and a pair of white slippers.

Destiny is just over five feet tall and has a dark complexion.

She is slim and has a small head, long face, small nose and small brown eyes.

She is known to frequent the Bridge Gap area.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Destiny is asked to contact the Central Police Station at 430-7676, police emergency number 211, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477 or the nearest police station.

    everybody including me wishes her well ,& pray for her safety .( but from a broader perspective, they are psychological factors involved here & does the government care, is the minister of education should introduce teachers trained in child psychology to help young school girls & boys with problems, that stem from their home environment, when will de minister stop putting on a political show, & help the young women & men in our schools they NEED psychological HELP, Minister (O GOD MAN wake up.!)
