Solemn lap of honour for ‘Road Angel’

Members of the Runnersway group this morning held a solemn lap of honour for road fatality victim June Knight.

The group started their symbolic run at Browne’s Beach Car Park, proceeding around the Garrison, before heading back to Browne’s Beach.

Knight tragically lost her life last Saturday morning, during a routine early morning run along Arch Hall, St Thomas, with members of the Runnersway group.

The Grazettes, St Michael resident was struck and killed by a vehicle driven by 27-year-old Daniel Haynes of Jackmans, St Michael.

May she rest in peace and the thoughtful memory of how she lost her years of life, for ever remain in the thoughts and cares of vehicle operators throughout the island nation. Some times focus and think of the other person on the street that he or she may get to his destination safely and that their love ones and friends recieve them at the end of their travells. Masses it is selfish not to think of others on a public highway or street! Lets not be that selfcentered and selfish!
