      Think again,
The ones task with dealing with matters of this nature seem to be trying to introduce ineffective and unconstitutional legislation that cannot change this situation.

      Somehow I doubt he did.
I guess this situation is not a matter of importance for the ruling g party.
It leaves us to wonder if enough Barbadians of voting age will still be when come election is called unless culling the electorate is part of their strategy for re-election.
The less people to vote may work in their favour.

Ossie Moore : Blacks ( especially black bajans ) were taught by the slave masters ( way back from the days of slavery ) that they are not suppose to like each other , and up to this very day black bajans are taught from birth that they are not suppose to like one another.

Even in conversations with their own you can hear bajans calling one another ” big head , bow leg , picky head , big mout and all kind of other derogatory adjectives.

You never hear white folks or Indians or Jews , Chinese or any other race of people using derogatory adjectives to describe their own , it’s a disease that was given to blacks from the days of slavery.

Event the Barbados media ( including The Barbados Today online paper ) and the ROYAL Barbados Police Force use the said derogatory adjectives when describing missing persons .

For example : The R O Y A L Barbados Police Force ( a black Police force with a black chief ) and the Barbados media ( with black managing editors ) fall into the very same slave master description of black bajans by describing missing persons as having :

” a large head , a round head , large mouth , protruding lips , big eyes , large forehead , thick lips ” etc etc.

But if you look at the very same law enforcement people and media people who are giving the description you will find that ” them ” and they colleagues fit the very same derogatory description that they are using to describe their very own.

Case in point , white movie stars and models in other countries are usually describe as having ” large beautiful blue round eyes” while in Barbados they use the term ” big eyes ” to describe black people in a derogatory manner.

So to answer your question jrsmith , the black on black crime , insults , and derogatory description of black bajans will never end because it’s a disease that was injected into the minds and veins of black bajans from the days of slavery and there will never be a cure for the disease.

As the late King Dyall ( a black bajan ) used to say , Barbados is nothing more than an island full of black cattle and the Media and Police force will really never let bajans forget that by the way in which they describe black bajans daily.

. . . . one more thin jrsmith and others , if a black bajan ever shoots a white bajan in Barbados then that little piece of 2 x 4 banana republic rock named buhbaydus can put it’s face between it’s legs and kiss it’s ass good bye because that will be the end of Barbados.

where are the Police Patrols that should be frequenting these area that have become hot spots for Gun violence?when will those in authority allow Police and the Defends Force to sweep these areas with authorized searches ?Aa long as the law prevents searches which most cry babies would seem illegal criminals will continue to commit crimes by carrying weapons in vehicles and on they person with the knowledge that any Police are handcuffed by the law.The unlawful search.Well because of such laws many more Will be shot or killed and lawyers will be quick to defend murderers who were unlawfully search and or apprehended. In conclusion the criminal has a right .The innocent’s rights are severely limited.

buhbaydus ( Barbados ) will not get any better as long as the bajans are satisfied with being told that :

    (1) barbados is the most beautiful country in the world.
    (2) barbados is the home of the world’s No.1 entertainer
    (3) Every year ( from now until forever ) will be the best tourism
    year ever in Barbados.
    (4) 5 cruise ships will be in the port every day ( from now until forever)
    (5) Visitor arrivals are up in numbers
    (6) Crop over ( kadoowment and wucking up in the streets) will be better yearly.

Push those things down the troats of bajans and they’ll forget about why buhbaydus is going to hell in a handbasket.

The known trouble spots should be subjected to early morning Cordon-and-searches .Block off the community and search every damn house, vehicle and person.
As long as guns have been allowed into any area, the normal mobile or foot patrols may be ineffective in locating these illegal firearms, and especially so when all of the residents keep their mouths shut.
