Gollop remanded to Dodds

A St Michael man was remanded to prison after appearing at the District ‘A’ Magistrate Court today on a string of drug and firearm related charges.
Forty-five-year-old Edward Dacosta Gollop of School Lane, Halls Road, St Michael was formally charged for four counts of unlawful possession of four firearms; unlawful possession of 100 rounds of .762 ammunition; unlawful possession of 97 rounds of .45 ammunition; unlawful possession of 20 rounds of .32 ammunition; unlawful possession of cannabis, unlawful possession of cannabis with intent to supply, trafficking cannabis, unlawful possession of cocaine, trafficking of cocaine and money laundering, and possession of United States currency, when he was not an authorized dealer.
Gollop was arrested on Monday after members of the Anti-Gun Unit, assisted by a tactical response squad, executed a search warrant at his house.
Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant ordered Gollop to reappear in court on November 9, 2017.

    Thanks you RBPF. It seems like you are doing a great job of apprehending these guys. They need to be off the streets. Hopefully the courts will not just let them go free.

    It is so great to see the that Barbados Police Force is doing such commendable work.Wonder what has taken them so long to move on well known Criminals and criminal elements that are plaguing once Serene and envious Island.I hope this crack Down escalates to the point where every drug and gang plagued district is rid of these losers who have and are continuing to ruin families daily.I do hope the AG can manage to some how give Police and all law enforcement personnel the additional equipment and power to go after all these Criminals and drug dealers that continue to ply their trade with what appear to many law abiding citizens as in lots of cases , immunity from the law.To some of us ,it appears to be by design.A blind eye is turned on many of the key player.

    Let’s see a big sentence …dished out !!
    Let’s see an example made of anyone ” peddling death” ..! Let’s get these guns of the streets of that beautiful island..
