Man held for robbery of schoolboy

One man is to appear in court here today charged in connection with last Friday’s robbery of a 15-year-old schoolboy.

The student from a Christ Church school was reportedly attacked and robbed at gunpoint by two assailants at the junction of Montrose and Silver Hill in the same parish.

As a result, 20-year-old Rawle Anthony Caesar, of no fixed place of abode, has been arrested and charged.

Caesar, who faces an additional charge of robbery, is expected to appear in the Oistins Magistrates’ Court later today.

I hope the police have the right person, the only thing about this scenario, is that a psychiatrist should examine him, to ascertain what is his mental state, if he shows signs of madness, he should be sent to the psychiatric hospital, if he is not mad, he only going to prison to eat, go to bed early, watch movies on weekends, and get what is called canteen, that is you order whatever you want ,it is bought for you & deducted from the salary you earn while in prison, ( sweet life)Barbados prison is like a hotel stay, compared to other countries( the reality is that we need persons trained in child psychology, to deal with the youth, not licks & punishment, that produces rebellion or vagabonds.( the thing here is this is known but is not being implemented i wonder why.

No RH bail, stupid git! Looks like we will have to keep our boys in school a bit longer, like until their 30th birthday, to ensure that we can input an ounce of common sense in their little brains, before letting them loose as voluntary and involuntary unemployed, PSV drivers and motorcycle riders, to name a few.
