Burnt body found in St Joseph

Police are investigating the unnatural death of a man, whose burnt body was discovered sometime after 10 p.m. on Wednesday at Elizabeth Village, St Joseph.

Lawmen say they received a report around 10:42 p.m. that someone was on fire at St Elizabeth Village and later found the charred body of a man, believed to be in his 60’s, lying face up.

They are asking anyone with information that can assist them with these investigations to contact District ‘F’ / Belleplaine at 433-2320; Police Emergency at 211; Crime Stoppers at 1800 –TIPS (8477); or the nearest police station.

Police say all information received will be treated as strictly confidential.

      But there is nothing that says exactly how he got on fire…so it would be wise to wait for further info rather than making assumptions.

    I`m tired of hearing that bajans are not capable of committing crimes, it has to be someone from another country, eg. the arson on Tudor St. where 6 young ladies lost their lives, then who was arrested but bajans.

    This guy is a friend of mine fam and it was said that he went to set a fire the house with her mother in it and it catch him instead only the front door n a lil bit got caught before she heard the exploision smhhhh see what happen to you when you trying to do wrong it back fired at he ass
