Narrow escape!

The occupants of a house at Sturges, St Thomas had a lucky escape in the wee hours of this morning when a massive boulder rolled off a hill and landed less than two feet away from their home.

Barbados TODAY was told that the family’s matriarch is disabled.

Family members say they are terribly shaken but they are thankful that no one was injured.

Thanks to the almighty . I do hope that those folk that live in areas where Large boulders are precariously lodged above or near their homes take note. If there is a substantial amount of rain there,is a good chance there will be land slides.Barbados does not have Mountains ,but there are Hills that are very likely to collapse as mudslides if ever there is a small portion of the rain that has been experienced by many Islanders in the last Month.
