PM off to Canada and Jamaica

Prime Minister Freundel Stuart left the island on Friday to participate in events in Canada and Jamaica.

During his visit to Ottawa, Stuart is down to address the Tenth Annual Errol Barrow Memorial Dinner and the Ottawa Welcomes the World event. He will also visit this country’s High Commission there.

The Prime Minister will also participate in the First Charter Day Ceremony of the Caribbean Maritime University on Thursday, September 28, in Jamaica.

Minister of Tourism Richard Sealy will act as Prime Minister in Stuart’s absence.

    So the country can afford to fly him and his entourage to wine and dine in Canada and Jamaica but can’t buy a garbage truck? Cool!

    expenditure is prioritized according to the importance and critical nature of the expenditure.

    like the caricom meeting in trinidad to discuss the hurricane relief. money spent on talk that could have been spent on need for talk just action, coordination could have been done on phone or email by technocrats.
