Four injured in accident on Highway 2A

Four people, including a four-year-old boy, were rushed to the state-run Queen Elizabeth Hospital following a two-vehicle smash-up along the Whitehall section of Highway 2A.

One driver, 73-year-old Eudora Cumberbatch of Black Bess, St Peter, complained of chest pains, as well as injuries to her right knee, and was transported to the hospital by ambulance.

The other driver,  29-year-old Jamar Agard of Block 4A, Nursery Close, Eden Lodge St Michael, suffered a puncture under his right armpit, as well as injuries to his right shoulder and wrist. The other occupants in the car driven by Agard were four-year-old Selon Smith and 26-year-old Sabrina Collins, both of Six Mens, St Peter.

Collins complained of pain to the ribs and head trauma while young Smith complained of pain to the shoulder.

The road was closed as police conducted their investigations.

Well said Randy. I know Barbados today is a business, but this add is very annoying. Sometimes you cannot close it out either, especially on small screen laptops.
