Miss Universe Barbados 2017 crowned

Twenty-six year old Lesley Chapman-Andrews is Miss Universe Barbados 2017.
In addition to the coveted crown and over $100, 000 in prizes, the confidently beautiful freelance consultant also walked away with the Miss Congeniality title at the end of Saturday night’s competition.

First runner up was Jamila Forde, who also ended up in that same position in last year’s competition.
Second runner up was Shanice Mason.

Miss Photogenic was Ta-Keila Rochester, while Mutamuliza Cutting took the People’s Choice award.
Eight other females competed in the pageant, including one contestant Chè Greenidge, who did so on crutches, due to a broken ankle. She made the Top 5.

    So for the second year a lighter skinned female has won the title because the organizers know the lighter you are the higher the probability that you win the Ms.Universe title. It’s time to stop this crap.

      Why does her skin color have to be the “deciding factor” for this?
      Are you implying that the judging panel that were of 90% negro ethnic descent are all against their own phenotypic makeup?

      Sagaboy, ethnocentrism will be your biggest handicap if that is your perception on this matter.
