Drug accused remanded to Dodds

A 34-year-old civil engineer who is alleged to have imported over $800,000 worth of cannabis into the island has been remanded to Dodds Prison after appearing in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court.
Duane Ryan Gittens of Lot 405 Westwood Drive, Husbands, St James was not required to plea to the indictable charges of possession, possession with intent to supply and trafficking of 418.8 pounds of the drugs.


The drugs were reportedly found at the port on August 31 in 40 pails of adhesive glue.
Gittens who went before Acting Magistrate Sandra Rawlins and is being represented by attorney Arthur Holder returns to court on October 2.

    drug squad & associates partying, all they want they can buy now, including looking after their girl friends( them boys doing what international police does do, more cocaine lots more money, for them criminals in the police force.not all police men are criminals ,some of them police women are nothing but real criminals, breaking into other police lockers & teafing the officers money ,how come i a civilian know about these criminal behaviors among the police, you telling me the top brass of the force don’t know ,of course, all them sexy police women got to do is pass some of the honey & every thing will be taken care of ( that’s the way we do don’t we)
