Three charged in connection with Kadooment Day shooting

Police in the Major Crime Unit have arrested and charged three St Michael men in connection with the Kadooment Day shooting incident on the Spring Garden Highway.

They are 22-year-old Triston Soneil Alleyne of Morris Gap, Westbury Road; 17-year-old Elijah Akeem Copland of Chase Gap, Hindsbury Road; and 21-year-old Raheem Akeem Grimes of Chadderton Road.

They were charged with 23 counts each of endangering life and one count each of violent disorder.

The three are expected to appear in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court today.

    At the time of the alleged offences were any of these men on:

    Police bail?
    Court Bail?
    Parole?
    Probation or on a bond to keep the peace?
    Community Service ordered by the courts?
