Three injured when car slams into utility pole

Three people were left nursing injuries when a motor car slammed into a utility pole along St Stephens Hill, Black Rock, St Michael this morning.

Twenty-seven-year-old Damone Lynch, of Goddings Road, St Stephens, St Michael, was driving along the roadway accompanied by his 26-year-old brother and two female friends when the accident happened about 7:10 a.m.

Lynch was not hurt but his brother complained of pain to his head and neck; one of the females received a laceration to the mouth; and the other complained of pain to her head, neck, and back. They were transported to the QEH for treatment.

    Who is paying for the damage to the pole , the driver or the insurance……………………..

    @johnrsmth…. Just goes to show what sort of people you are. An Accident has been reported with persons injured and the first thing out of your mouth is about who paying for a piece of old pole?? Stupse……SERIOUSLY???

    My take its about time bajan drivers be more careful , as they mad driving behaviour ,killing others and themselves………

    @jrsmith; that`s why you have insurance, the injured should be compensated too and the car repaired after the deductible, why do people in Barbados pays taxes, pay insurance policies and then left holding the bag.
