Gay finally secures his bail

A 53-year-old labourer is back at home after spending over a month on remand at HMP Dodds.

Anthony Seymour Gay of Bydes Mill, St George was finally able to present a surety to District ‘A’ Magistrate Douglas Frederick Friday after failing to do so when he first appeared in court, accused of assaulting and threatening to kill Nekeisha Green on June 24.

Gay, who has denied the charges, was released on $2,000 bail with one surety. His case resumes on October 30.
