Man stabbed at Black Pearl Lounge

Police are conducting investigations into a stabbing incident which occurred in the wee hours of this morning at the Black Pearl Lounge, Carlisle House Car Park, St Michael.

St Michael resident, 43-year-old Shawn Estwick was stabbed multiple times about the body during the incident which occurred at 2:56 a.m.

Preliminary investigations suggest that Estwick was attending an event at the establishment when he was approached by an unknown man who proceeded to stab him multiple times about the body before fleeing the scene. Estwick was transported by ambulance to the QEH for medical attention.

The police are asking anyone who can provide any information to assist with their investigation to contact CID Central at telephone numbers 430-7634 or 430-7158;  Police Emergency at telephone number 211; Crime Stoppers at 1-800 –TIPS (8477) or the nearest police station.

    The atmosphere in Barbados has changed for the worst and it shows no signs of changing. Crime happens everywhere but the sharp rise in violence in such a short amount of time is worrying.

    When the police intervened in a similar disturbance a few weeks ago, there was no shortage of information placed on social media. Where are those ubique photo snappers now?
