Four injured in St George accident

Four people were injured in an accident this afternoon at Parish Land, St George, involving an unmarked police jeep and a Toyota Rav4.
The occupants of both vehicles — two men and two women — were taken to hospital by ambulance.

The accident, which occurred around 3 p.m., resulted in that stretch of road being closed off for close to two hours as lawmen conducted their investigations.

Is this accident number 3 for the police in less than a week? What about the officer who got shot last week in the Holetown police station?

It boggles my mind the police is appealing to the public to drive to avoid accidents and the same police is getting into accidents with State vehicles. This is the third accidents for the year involving police vehicles and the police administration lack a sense of responsibility to inform the public the cause these accidents.

Police is people like you and me. Suppose the person that is driving the other vehicle wrong. What you want the police to do.

It is true, the police are people like every other citizen – drive drunk the same way as anybody else.
