Free Palestine!

They were few in number.

However, they came with a powerful message to the governments of Barbados and Israel.

As the first Caribbean Israeli Technology Conference and Exhibition got underway at the Hilton Barbados Resort this morning, members of the Caribbean Against Apartheid in Palestine (CAAP) made clear their opposition to Israel’s occupation of Palestine.

CAAP Secretary Lalu Hanuman (left) told Barbados TODAY that he was disappointed that Barbados would seek to foster relations with Israel inspite of the atrocities inflicted by Israel on the Palestinian people.

The United Nations and Amnesty International have both condemned Israel for imposing an Apartheid regime on the Palestinians. Israel is indeed an apartheid state. Barbados and Barbadians stood in solidarity with South Africans and we must do the same for the Palestinians. #FreePalestine

A strong message must be sent to the Apartheid state of Israel.

Their inhuman treatment of the Palestinians should not be tolerated by the decent people of the World.

“Ban all Israeli settlement goods, Amnesty demands”

Human rights organizations are finally catching up with the Palestinian-led boycott, divestment and sanctions campaign to make Israel pay a price for its crimes against humanity.
On Wednesday, Amnesty International said that all states “must ban Israeli settlement products to help end half a century of violations against Palestinians.”
“The international community must ban the import of all goods produced in illegal Israeli settlements and put an end to the multimillion dollar profits that have fueled mass human rights violations against Palestinians,” Amnesty stated.
