Woman found dead in Pine home

Police are conducting investigations into the circumstances surrounding the death of a 66-year-old female, whose partially decomposed body was discovered at her residence at the Pine, St Michael, sometime around 12 noon on Saturday.

The 47-year-old son of the deceased, being unable to reach his mother by telephone, visited the residence where he found her lying on the bed. The matter was reported to the police and investigations are continuing.

The police will await the results of a postmortem to guide the investigations.

So what a phone call can’t stop death so don’t imply the son was negligent.Only God knows how awful he must feel.Sorry for your lost hope this was not a criminal act.God strengthened you and your family.

Classic example of where BAJANS will call friends at least once per week who live in ENGLAND, USA and CANADA , but won’t/don’t speak to their next door neighbor.
    RIP.

@Smiley, can`t you comprehend? I thought bajans had a literacy rate of 98%. None of the comments said that a telephone call would have saved her life but they would have known something even before rigor mortis step in.

Decomposition of a body starts after 24 hours especially in hot and humid Barbados this process can be accelerated. The lady is 66 living with a loved one. I really camt fathom the judgmental attitude of persons here looking to cast blame amd defame her son instead of showing compassion at keast until the full story ia out. But bajans don’t have patience for that you all rather insult and point fingers … Oh how great and loving must you be that the second something happens to your lived ones you are there to catch them before they fall.

      SMH..
