You are a very smart and intelligent person Othneal also you are asking a very intelligent question also because one of the greatest things in life is ” to know what you don’t know ” . . . and what you would like to know as the say in ” street language is ” where Ossie Moore is coming from and where is he is going to !

What I do want you to know however is that Ossie Moore has have never seen , read or heard in the bajan media is that Whites , Asians , Indians etc, etc. are murdering ,, shooting , stabbing and beating up each other at school.

How come only the ” black cattle ” , I did not give black bajans that name , the man with the Purple suit , glasses and walking stick the late KING DYAL used to walk up and down Bridgetown back in the 60’s / 70’s call black bajans ” black cattle “.

” Cattle ” are some of the only ones who try to kill each other and it happens that the black bajans are daily trying to kill off their own black race .

If it continues at this rate Barbados will soon be 95 % white , Asian , Indian , etc . . . then there will be to name a few :

    (1) no more reckless ZR driving around the streets in Barbados endangering people’s lives.

    (2) No more shootings , stabbings , fighting in schools.

    (3) No more nasty ” wucking up ” in the streets

I could go on with this forever.

Catch my drift Sir Othneal ?

Othneal Sir , do you see now where Ossie is coming from and where he is going to ? I know that you do because you have come across as a classy and intelligent person . . . . . compared to some of the other commenters.

I say this because I threw something out there and you are the only person who caught on to it .

I wish some of you guys would take your heads out of the sand and realize that there is a present culture in Barbados which did not exist many many years ago, at least to the point where if you did not adhere to it meant execution.
All of this talk about Jesus, the availability of guns, law enforcement, of you have the money and the need for anything you can get. It’s just a matter of demand and supply. $$$$$

#Ossie Moore, that you for your reply.
I detect a sense of melancholy/ dismay which a number of our compatriots and I share with you.
Unfortunately this lacking in appreciation for the value of life, is not peculiar to the Barbadian males, but is a phenomenon seen in most post-slavery cultures, almost without exception. A tragedy of its own.
Perhaps an even greater tragedy is the lack of recognition of this characteristic by Governments, hence in places like America, this internalised rage is used by whites to define black people without analysis of why young black men behave in this self-destructive manner.
In Barbados, the Government need to restructure the Education Curriculum to reflect the needs of it’s citizens. Abandoning the Eurocentric model would be a good place to start.
Black people need to know and believe that we do not have to apologize to ANYONE for being “black”.

I truly find the term Black Cattle offensive. Having a country 95% white does not eliminate the issue. Canada is majority white, yet the people of African Descent are still killing each other. They have better opportunities; but a percentage of them prefer to go participate in the criminal element, and every other week they are either shooting or stabbing each other. At the outset of this year they did a drive-by shooting and a pregnant woman of African Descent was shot and she died at the hospital. The doctors had to take her unborn baby who is still in hospital fighting of its life. Canada is a white country. Therefore, there is no rhyme or reason to your comments.
Stop griping and complaining and do something about it. Check out the internet to see how individuals and groups in various community groups to take back their communities. Another group that is killing off the Bajans are the reckless motorists.

It’s a funny thing blaming blacks for crime and violence. Crime that can be easily seen is perpetuated by blacks, but the most crime is committed by other races that have the resources to cover them up for a time, lol. This is all foretold though, so look for steeper crime. LoL

Every time a black person is shot in barbados , we get the same worded responses from the people , but nothing from the politicians…………..
We the blacks is so well educated , but the question where is it taking us, looking back at slavery this wasn’t the behaviour of the slaves on each other……….
We have in the name of (Allah) young men as ( Muslims ) bombing , running people over , stabbing who they can and this as terrorist…
We have black young men all over the world which suppose to be (Christian ) with they faith in (God) using each other as target practice with guns and bullets and also stabbings , in Barbados our black young men is trying as fast they can to reduce our black population …………….
    ***************************************************
Why only black young men, because thats how it meant to be black on black …..(they dare )……… to even make a mistake and ( shoot a white person ) then you will see the difference all hell will break loose … … by our politicians ,
Slaves were treated better then by the slave masters , than bajans is treated today by our politicians ………………. The protection of people who is above the law in Barbados, means more to our crooked , corrupt politicians than any body who thinks casting a vote for one of these people is big deal……..

Guns or drugs will never stop rolling into Barbados….which is easier than mangoes coming in…………

    Why black young men

So no guns and bullets are manufactured on the island so how are they so many? Why doesn’t government start doing ransoms sweeps in the ports and airports. Obviously people are being paid off to allow firearms in. Impose a 10%tax on firearms. Seem like the mortician has his hand full.
My condolences to this man’s family.
