UPDATE-Shooting aboard a ZR

Police investigations are continuing into a shooting incident, which occurred aboard a ZR at Vauxhall Main Road, Christ Church around 10:15 a.m. Friday.

Raheem Farnum

As a result, 20-year-old Raheem Farnum of 2nd Ave, Vauxhall, Christ Church suffered two injuries from a single gunshot – one to his left forearm and the other to his left side.

He was transported to the state-run Queen Elizabeth Hospital by private vehicle for medical attention.

Preliminary investigations reveal that the perpetrator was known to the victim, who had reportedly appealed to the driver of the ZR to let him off the bus mere moments before he was shot by his assailant.

Carrying a gun doesn’t make a place unsafe…it’s the untrained person not the gun.

Scary the amount of unlicenced guns on our beautiful island. When you listen to news reports from the other islands as to the ways that they are discovered….in dog chow, on fishing boats, in briefcases on the laps of wheelchair arrivals under a blanket…very scary!!!

Just now the Gun Shot wound Doctors at the QEH will be in high demand world wide. I do believe that their skills will be top notch after getting so much practice on BAJANS. They will accept the “big Dollars” and jump ship. The Politicians won’t mind cos one done say that “Brain drain is good for BIM”.

Jackass. Using the weapon made by the white man to kill off black people. All this nonsense must stop. Our young men are lost. What if those bullets had found the way to innocent people. Hate this ish.

I am sure that these poor black men don’t have the means to bring the guns into the island. Who is checking the yachts at Port Ferdinand and Port St Charles.
