Licensing Authority system unavailable

The Barbados Revenue Authority (BRA) is advising the public that the Licensing Authority system will be unavailable from 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 25, to facilitate maintenance of the servers.

The BRA said residents should arrange their business accordingly. Normal operations are expected to resume from Friday, May 26.

The Authority regrets any inconvenience caused.

      Count the coming work late,going home early and the 2-3 hour lunches that some of them take throughout the year.

    Friday is “Pay day” and if the machine not back up by Friday and road tax or drivers’ licence due the 27th May, the next day would be the 29th May, pray to God that you don’t get an accident or meet the law doing road blocks or stop and searches. So all you who are near due date I urge you to go tomorrow Wednesday and be on the safe side.

    hmmm a 2 hour closure causes all this huh. Funny that some of the people who comment are no more productive themselves.

    I do not disagree reith the point that this could have and should have been done after hours or on the weekend.

    But two hours is an improvement I would say. Because normally these entities would close for the entire day. So relax ppl. It’s really not that serious. And I’m sure none of you have to use the service this week anyway.

    The BRA., Licensing, tax returns, Cahill, Solid waste tax, bus service, QEH, water woes, road repairs and markings, street lighting, housing at the Groto, the Hyatt, finger printing of its citizens, OMG.
