This was a personal matter, the public needs not be afraid.

So what difference does that make, it not a crime?

If you think that the first time that gun been used you are wrong guarantee it.

The guests is dies Barbados has the forensic resources to prove it.

The difference is that these two people had grievances with each other and not the public.

As soon as people hear gun they panic like if the people involved were coming for innocent civilians, sad thing is more people die by the hands of drunk drivers or non drivers, than they do from stray bullets.

Would it still not be a crime if a sword was used to commit murder?

I’m tired of the scare campaign, trying to drive fear into the hearts of the people so they can make us want to give them what ever little rights we have left.

This little island is indeed an enigma. You people are in a declining economic, moral, political and social state and don’t even realise it. It’s absolutely painful to watch. Your leaders and policy makers are totally useless, they fail you repeatedly, they are mostly old men and women devoid of any new ideas, creativity and innovation, sorry to say, but from my observation, there seems to be no vision for this country. Are you Barbadians aware that your gun related violence is unusually high…even abnormal when you consider other island nations? Take Japan, an island with a population of over 127 million compared to your 270,000 and 147,000 Sq. miles compared to your 166 Sq. Miles. In case you guys have been living under a rock, it has less gun related violence and deaths. What I find even more alarming about this tiny little island is that no seems to be in shock….no one seems to be panicking. Your police chiefs, Attorney General, Prime Minister, parliamentarians and civil society seem all oblivious to what would be considered a national crisis in other countries where the size and populations are much larger.
What the hell is going on with you people…..why are you not calling for the heads of your leaders?? You’re supposed to be an educated lot. Something has gone horribly wrong with this island and nobody seems to care. Mark my words; you will all care in a few years when this island has descended into Chaos. Those that have ears to hear let them hear!

They are too educated in the wrong education is the problem and the most valuable element of the education is missing. Learning about another race conquering of various lands via mass killings and forced Christianity is not real education. Maybe that is what is needed some chaos.

You are perfectly right Mr. Crowley but the problem is that bajans are the kind of people who sink into ” denial ” very quickly and also the kind who are very quick on the draw to use the comparison factor .

Very quickly they’ll tell you ” but in comparison to Jamaica and Trinidad and Guyana and all of the rest of the world ” tings like da doan happun hay in bubaydus an tings hay in buhbadus ‘aint dat bad “.

Read some of the moronish comments on this post and you’ll realize very quickly that the man from back in the 60s / 70’s with cheap purple suit , glasses and the walking stick the Hon. King Dyal was right when he said that Barbados is an island of black cattle who keep on producing more black ignorant cattle on a daily basis.

I was in Barbados a couple of years ago with a friend on mine and one night we were attending an event in the Hothersal Turning . This stupid black , ignorant . illiterate looking , bad smelling bajan man came up and tried talking to my lady friend who could not understand a word he was saying , so I told him ‘ listen man she does not speak English “.

The a ** hole replied ” ef she doan talk inglish she shoud’nt be hay en bubbaydus.

    R I P King Dyal , you were right ! ! !
