This is why you can’t believe everything you read. Trump was right about the media. This accident took place at the junction of Denny Road and Thorpes main Road.

Hope the gentleman makes a full and speedy recovery. I also hope, and trust, that the several damages to property and person ( hit to our F/X reserves for new car/ parts for repairs, new utility pole; restoration of services; personal injuries and medical attentions, medications, physiotherapy, N.I.S. claims for loss of earnings etc etc)…do not make their way onto taxpayers bills, and increased car-insurance premia. Mind you …I assume he had a valid policy.

Four forty-five…aye M ….hmmm….a time when most good folks are sleeping …counting wheels or sheep. Madness mussee getting contagious.

@….Tony Webster could it be just possible that he could have been on his way to work? Some of you folks like to pitch some form of negativity on almost everything you read without getting the details………guess you are one of the “good folks ” who would be asleep…..after brushing your dentures….putting on your silk polka dot pajamas and saying your prayers ..

Sorry, @JM…you are surely right: …it definitely did not occur to me that a utility pole cudda willfully, and maliciously , struck a passing car being carefully driven, by a careful, law-abiding citizen.
My apologies , Sir! Might you be really interested in securing the Truth, The Whole truth, and naught else, a quick call to BT should put your heart to ease.

Hmmm…silk-polka-dot-pajamas????? Sir, it’s YOUR silk slip dat is showing…as I know for sure that I know not of what you speak….in all my 73 years. I CAN assure you that in Grenada, my four siblings and I slept “less-than-fitfully”, on mattresses and pillows stuffed wid coconut fibre (“coir”) which had the nasty habit of sending especially sharp fibres clean through the “ticking”, right through the Indian-cotton (home-sewn) garments, to agitate and castigage tender parts of all sinners who slept when they should be wide awake…be they sober, drunk, driving, or just driven to distraction from lack of sleep.
