Meanwhile against St Ambrose Primary, Grantley Prescod shooters were not so free but still managed to pull off the win 2-0 with one goal each from Phillips and Ashton.

Hill Top Preparatory’s goal-attack Renata Ramdhani picks this ball away from Vauxhall Primary’s goal-defence Joanna Atkins.

Last year’s runners up Vauxhall Primary contested two games and made light work of St Lawrence 9-0, thanks to an almost perfect score of nine from ten attempts by goal-shooter Makayla Lynch. Against Hill Top Preparatory, Vauxhall were victorious 4-1 with goal-shooter Lynch scoring all four goals while Hill Top Preparatory goal-shooter Jamila Greenidge netted the one goal for her school.

Wing-attack Releah Layne of Wilkie Cumberbatch Primary takes a great catch to beat George Lamming Primary’s defence including wing-defence Cherise Walcott.

Wilkie Cumberbatch Primary were also in the winners’ circle against George Lamming Primary and St Paul’s Primary. Goal-attack Kennia Blackman had four from eight attempts and goal-shooter Sunshine Howard three of four. Blackman with the goal-attack bib scored five from seven attempts and goal-shooter Howard one goal when they took on St Paul’s Primary.

St Paul’s Primary’s goal-shooter Kaelin Dixon (center) makes a difficult take look easy as she ensured the advantage remained with her team while Hill Top Preparatory goal-keeper Kaia Lowe (left) makes an attempt to intercept.

Goal-attack Stevecia Hyde shot six from nine to lead St Ambrose to a 6-0 victory while Hill Top Preparatory won 3-0 playing St Paul’s Primary.
