BIBA brings smiles to children’s ward

There were plenty smiling faces on the Children’s Ward at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) this week, as members of the Barbados International Business Association (BIBA) came bearing some brightly wrapped gifts.

It was BIBA’s way of making the holiday season much brighter for the young patients at the state-run health care institution.
Through its charity, which was established back in 2010, the Association delivered the welcomed Christmas cheer.

“Christmas time is really about the children and it gives us great pleasure to brings some sort of cheer to them this time of the year,” said trustee Dawn Williams.

The charity, which is currently raising funds to assist the Eunice Gibson Polyclinic in Warrens, St Michael with much needed equipment, also donated gift vouchers to the children at the Sterling Children’s home.
