University students on drug charges

todays courtTwo university students will now have to find time out of their studies to complete 120 hours of community service.

Shaka Javon Mayers, 20, of #55 Ellerton Gardens, St George and Asheed Alberto Pilgrim of #128 Independence Drive, Husbands Gardens, St James, today pleaded guilty to separate charges of possession of cannabis.

The two were arrested in the country’s territorial waters while enjoying a pleasure cruise onboard the Jolly Roger.

They return to court on August 28, 2016.

    Just having fun and sipping a cup. Is that not what a “pleasure cruise” is all about ???????. Oh, drinking rum is legal.
    CANNABIS IS NOT A LEGAL DRUG IN BIM…….can’t you all get it through that thick skull yet?….

    I didn’t know that the University offered a course in ” Herbal Medicine”. If I knew that I would have paid up my tuition fees for September Semester ,’cause it appear to be a fun thing, and it don’t seem to cost you very much ,once you don’t get caught smoking the lab samples.
