Jamaican caught with drugs


A 63-year-old Jamaican man was due to appear in the District B Magistrates Court today to answer a number of drug charges.

O’Conner Newton faces charges of possession, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation of two pounds of cannabis.

Newton arrived here by air from Kingston on March 18 and was interviewed by police. He was later referred to the state-run QEH where he passed out 68 packages of cannabis, weighing two pounds.

    At this rate we would eventually have more Jamaicans at DODDS , than Bajans.. only the minos getting caught…

    My man , things up at the Hotel DODDS ain’t so nice and dandy as before so we letting out 50 , now you come in wid some dope and gine put we right back to square one.
