Fatal accident on Sion Hill main road

Barbados recorded its latest road fatality this afternoon following an accident on Sion Hill main road in St James.

Part of the motorcycle destroyed in the accident.

Emergency services are at the scene of the accident, which involved a cyclist and another vehicle.

One car was damaged in the accident.

    What is happening on the roads today? Just pass Barbarees Hill and there is an accident there with someone in the road covered with a sheet.

      That guy reportedly had a heart attack and collapsed and died.

    That looks like a road bike and not a cross and I never saw them doing wheelies but anything is possible

    Also a bad accident earlier outside Deighton Griffith and jaws of life had to be used and an occupant was also thrown from vehicle

    Vernon Harris, there are a lot more cars on the road today than in previous decades, plus life has gotten much more hectic because of our busy schedules.

    Only yesterday one motor cyclist ran off the road hit in a fence n had to undergo surgery n is listed in serious condition

    Just to confirm this guy (R.I.P.) was one of a group travelling from the North of the Island going towards the South when the accident happened. He didn’t even get to Warrens. Not all of them are reckless.
