Missing girl found after a week

Police say missing teen Kaneisha Taylor has been traced and is safe.

The 14-year-old Taylor was reported missing last Friday.

The update from the police comes on the heels of two appeals by her father, Mark Taylor, this week, for her to return home.

How do you know that all these missing girls are going by men? Remarks like this only cement the fact that some people dont ever consider that the child just might be running away from something. So when boys go missing, are they running and going by women??

They are minors Antonio A Antonio, do u want their reasons for running away published in the media? But let one of them end up DEAD and some of y’all that talking crap will be the first to write R.I.P. Most of the people who think like this just want gossip, y’all couldn’t care less if these minors are running away from something. If the only thing you can think of is that they are running away to be sexual, why don’t you try bashing the men who are having sex with underage children, but no you rather bash the girl.

So well said and a certain site dished a fourteen old girl a
The girl was crucified and not protected and I felt that site was about protecting women and children not exploitation and worse. Site is beyond evil and who goes there lives in the gutter like the sewer rat that owns the site.
Shaming and shunning the minor child of 14 on Naked Departure claiming to help children when she attacked not only the mother but child .
The girl run away for a reason she is feeling abused at home.
So abuse her in a public domain and crucify her yes who does patronise such a wicked site and the owner of the site abusing children is the worst.
Who ever had this child should be charged if the are over the age of consent and not yesterday but now.

So that’s all that will be said?.. No more info.. I think that the worrying and concerned public ought to know what’s really going on . Even if it’s for our own peace of mind and closure.. Bearing in mind we too have children who treck the public roads to and from school on a regular.

And if she does not have a valid reason for being “missing” her family should be made to pay for police time spent to “trace” her, and then she should be sent to Dodds for two weeks.

The family must take some responsibility for raising a child that would act this irresponsibly to the society she lives in.

Further, there are too many children being born into this world by single women, being raised by elderly grand parents, with the child having multiple step fathers (or none at all) and multiple half brothers and sisters……but that’s a new discussion all together.

as you well know at this time in a child’s life her parents are not her biggest influences and as you know this society hasnt changed much, look how many men are before the courts for child support and no one knows what goes on in the mind of a child . I am certain that most people go into relationships hoping that it lasts ,but due to circumstances things change.

There lots of people who also have children for all the wrong reasons. The point his her parents cannot 100% excluded from the errors there child makes, when she is still a child.

I don’t think abused is the right term…..maybe neglected, bad parenting or no parenting at all, a society that promote promiscuity, a culture that has lost all pride, value and morals and we can go on and on.

Please parents and all involved don’t let this continue like this, please get an investigation also an intervention for this kid. This kind of behavior is very scary and she is still a kid, again make her talk where she was and arrest the person for havering her, point blank, she is a minor in the law books.

Thank God she is safe. When a child or anyone goes missing it is imperative that it is reported & the authorities act. We don’t know when it will be a false alarm or not but it is the responsibility of the authorities to deal with it as a serious matter. At 14 that’s when hormones are all out of whack & like bajans say ” she/he smelling themselves. Some kids handle this change better than some. Child care board do need to step in this case since this is the second time she went missing. She is being rebellious because of her or something can be going on at home. Her mother was totally excluded out of this maybe she is not dealing with the separation of her parents well.

If the paper didn’t interview her that would mean that she was excluded. Her mom had to comment on Barbados Today post about her missing daughter.

I tired of some of wunna comments this girl mother was very concerned for her daughter and on her page begging the girl to come home and and why send her to the home for wayward girls. That isn’t going to make her any better after all the foolishness that was reported going on there. What she needs is counselling and the love of both her parents and her family.

These situations need to be talked about both negatively and positively. It is pathetic to know that the majority of these missing teens are not really missing as they run away from home due to deviant behavior and shack up at people’s homes. For what? You’re telling me the person you’re with doesn’t read the newspaper or watch the news? Please. These girls need to be taught a lesson that if such continued behavior becomes a trend, an example would be made out of them by sending them to Somerville.

Indeed becoz this situation is happening to often now where these young girls disappear n reappear when thru feel like it and got the parents pulling out their hair with worry. It is time some kind if legislation be out in place to curb this behaviour. It is not right, it is becoming worrisome.

When (a) someone is jailed for housing these ‘runaway’ young girls, (b) when the communities where these young girls are hiding make that phone call to the authorities, (c) when the friends of these young girls tell someone where they are, then and only then will these incidents start to decline…police need to interview these young girls as soon as they return home, they will get the info they need and then make an example out of the homeowners where these girls are kept

When these children go missing and then show up at an adult place, what happened to the person they was at? No adult should let any body else child stay at they place with out that child parents knowing where that child is at.The person who the child was at during the time the parent reported her missing is the one to be held responsible.
Teen age life is some time very hard for some children because they bodies are going through a lot of changes that these children don’t understand. The hormone are changing and these children are dealing with feelings and ideas that are not discuss in many house hold. What these children need is some one to explain the changes they are going through , what to expect and most of all people who they can go to speak about their problems.

Situations like these are very touching. I’m a parent. May i say a committed parent. Some parents need to play a vital role in their kids social development and well being regarded to their relationship status to the child mom/dad. That’s where many break down happen and distracts some children from life. No offense to anyone. Please i beg all parents plz make ur kids ur priority first always. Man/woman will come n go.

Depravity is such a main stay in Barbadian society and you all are blaming the teenagers. Amasing, just amasing!!! Who are the people flocking to patronise Naked Departure, Dear Dominus and that lousy, nasty, salacious show with Cupid on 104.1fm every week day afternoon? Not teenagers for sure, these young people have no guidance, no sense of self, no self esteem because you the adults have none and hence have not passed anything on to them.

We all will sit and “speculate” every time one of our Nation’s Young ladies go missing then return home “safe and sound” and the relevant authorities don’t feed the public with no information after asking the public for support in locating the missing girls.
The RBPF and the Child Care Board must understand that most of us do care and go out looking for these missing GIRLS. You cannot continue to treat us like “dirt” , because in the end you might not get ant help from us.
We need to hear (1) Why the girls go missing (2) who housed them (3) are any adults brought before the court and charged.
It can no longer be “business as usual”.
THESE GIRLS MUST NOT BEE SEEN AS “FLAVOR OF THE MONTH” ITEMS.
