Drug accused remanded

Kelvin Ricardo Callender has been remanded to prison until March 15, 2016 on several charges in connection with a million dollar drug bust.
Callender, 45, of Wildey Terrace, St Michael, was arrested on Sunday and charged, after police discovered 20.9 kilograms of cocaine hidden in his cellar worth BDS$1,045,000.
One hundred and eighty-three grams of cannabis was also found in his car.
He is charged of possession, possession with intent to supply and trafficking on both offenses.
He appeared before Magistrate Douglas Frederick this morning..

    With that kind of $$$$$$ in “powder” stash away under his house in the cellar , he will make bail no matter the cost.
    That powder ain’t come into BDS for free.

    I hope that I will not be seeing only the “faces at the bottom of the well” haul into the law court on this one. Too much MONEY , this is the real thing, this is BIG.
    I notice that you guys refuse to give the “street value” for the “powder” …… At least you can excite the public taste buds.

    I could see the GRASS on the street but please stay away from the COCAINE u don’t want that stuff IN BIM this is serious …. u don’t want to fool around with that kind of DRUG .BPF u going to have to work over time please don’t let this drug get into BIM .this guy going have to pay a big price . put him away for a very long time as a matter of fact his smart ass should die in jail . lesson for the others
