Man facing nine gun and drug related charges

Following a raid at his home, a St Michael man is set to appear in court tomorrow to face 10 charges.

Edward Dacosta Gollop, 43, of School Lane Road, St. Michael will appear in the District ‘A’ Magistrates Court charged with possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition, possession of 1kg of cannabis, possession with intent to supply cannabis, trafficking cannabis, possession of 147 grams of cocaine, possession with intent to supply cocaine, trafficking cocaine and possession of apparatus.

He has also been charged with money laundering.

Gollop was charged after police executed a search warrant at his house last Thursday and the mentioned illegal drugs, firearm, ammunition and money were discovered.

    I hope the judge know we looking on the only way that guy should see out side again is when he come court.

    Drugs , money , guns and ammunition . Run the test to find out if that gun involve in any murders. Make sure all profits form this illegal act are seized.

    Is this the start of something new, guns ,drugs, money all in one place, but, lets wait and see. this is a massive test , this is going to prove a lot to us bajan people.

    it’s about time many. bajans know who these guys are now there getting to realize how seriously it’s affecting BIM and eventually it will affect our bread and butter tourism. that’s all BIM have right now .im calling on all bajans to get these RATS out of the damn hole wherever there are. inform the police its your country help the RBPF to keep it safe from these criminals .we don’t want to run the tourist away that’s the last we BAJANS want to do. BAJANS are very proud people and too damn smart to let that happen
