Robbery attempt at COB Blackrock

 

Police are on scene at the City of Bridgetown Credit Union where two masked gunmen attempted to rob the facility a short while ago.

According to initial reports, around 10.30, the men tried to enter the financial institution but failed to do so.

Barbados TODAY understands the men then quickly made their getaway.

Investigations are continuing.

    Wow! No jobs, no $$. By any means necessary smh, Barbados lucky they don’t have chop shops, these youngsters would be stealing and car jacking for $$$

      So you go rob ppl? Oh wow… And in most cases them end up shooting and killing ppl with said children at home waiting for mommy or daddy to come home… But I guess your wants and need trumps theirs

      I still don’t care. There is no reason. There is help. May take some work but there is always help. Rob, go to jail still cannot help the child. Get killed in the process still cannot help the child.

    come on now Bajans do u think that BIM is the only country in the world that going through difficult times ? I don’t think so this is a world wide thing .there’s ways and means to survive .so please don’t blame the difficult times we’re facing in BIM and giving these damn criminals the idea that things are that bad that they have the right to go around looting / shooting / and robbing people and u know what this is not the first time that BIM is going through tough economic times . but things going to get better I don’t think things it could get any worse . and please if u know of any criminal activity please inform the police not saying anything would only be helping these damn criminals . we as BAJNS have to come together and help stop these criminals from destroying Beautiful Barbados

    The biggest criminals sit at the top of broad-street in that building they call parliament. Legislating taxes against the small business man which is like steel chains –de poor are voiceless. In a class society like B’dos…..crime.

    Exactly !….the past criminals were bad,but these…lord have mercy man. Out of every $10…the ones before were taking $7 and giving you $3..the criminals of today taking $8 and 99 cents,and leaving you wid a dollar and a cent and you know when that cent is rounded off who gine get it
