Sandals welcomes new General Manager

A new man is at the helm of Sandals Barbados.

Fernand Zievinger took up the new post at the start of August, replacing Joseph Zellner.

“I am extremely excited to be here in lovely Barbados. I look forward to working with the team here, adding to the foundation already set in making Sandals Barbados the number one resort in the Sandals chain and a good social partner to the people of Barbados,” he said.

The Aruban-born Zievinger joined Sandals Resorts International in 2009 as director of food & beverage at the Sandals Grande Antigua Resort. He went on to work at Sandals Grande St. Lucian as hotel manager, then back to Antigua at Grand Pineapple Resort before moving on to Sandals Royal Plantation in Ocho Rios Jamaica as general manager.

Prior to joining Sandals, he worked for 11 years with Marriott International in Aruba and Curacao as executive chef, director of restaurants and director of food and beverage.

Hi Mr Zievinger, I would like to know if the construction at Sandals resort right now can affect our stay from dec. 23 rd for 2 weeks.
Noise and the look around the resort. I would like to have a real information from the resort , or some one that have seen it .
    Thank you for your collaboration.
