Forecasters eye Tropical Depression

Forecasters are keeping a close eye on tropical Depression Four, which is expected to become tropical storm Danny by tonight and a hurricane by the end of the week.

The National Hurricane Center said in its 11 a.m. bulletin that the depression was 1,665 miles east of the Windward Islands, moving at 13 mph.

Maximum sustained winds are near 35 miles mph.

The system is currently moving towards the west and is expected to turn towards the west-northwest later tonight.

Tropical Storm Danny is the only system to threaten the Caribbean this hurricane season.
