Three accused bailed

COURT TODAY BLOCKThree men who appeared in the District ‘D’ Magistrates’ Court today were granted bail.

Chay Akil Bishop, of Baltic, St Peter, who went before Magistrate Ian Weekes, was not required to plead to the indictable charge of having sexual intercourse with a 13-year-old girl last August 22.

The 25-year-old conductor was granted $5,000 bail and ordered to keep away from the complainant. He returns to court on September 24.

Meanwhile, cousins Darin Omar Jason Henry, a 30-year-old carpenter, and Jason Omar Decoursey Henry, who is unemployed, both of Chalky Mount, St Andrew, went before the same court accused of robbing Mark Sealy of $300 at Chalky Mount on June 8.

The two accused were placed on $2,500 bail until their matter comes up again on November 16.
