Man charged with drugs found at Port

A man is set to appear in court after being held with drugs at the Bridgetown Port.

Adrian McDonald Marville, 41, of Hawkins Gap, Westbury Road, St Michael will appear at the District A Magistrates Court tomorrow to answer four drug related charges.

He has been charged with possession of cannabis, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation of cannabis.

Last Friday Marville went to the Bridgetown Port to clear cargo which included buckets of joint compound.

A search of the consignment by Customs Enforcement Officers attached to the Customs and Excise Department discovered 16 taped packages containing cannabis, concealed within 14 buckets of the joint compound.

The drugs had a total weight of 25.3 pounds.

    Thought they were on a go slow clearly not. He is so dumb. I just don’t get why they think they are not going to get caught.

    Good not to list the street value . Only the weight is listed here.
    Some people still think that BDS is a drug city so you can bring it in at will .
    DRUGS ARE ILLIGAL IN BARBADOS.
    RUM should also be on the list.

    Well apparently so cause the last person with the container ain’t get a day for it and I doubt he even got fined but I stand corrected
