Man injured in Hindsbury accident

One man was injured earlier this evening after his motorcycle collided with a car on Hindsbury Road, St Michael.

The cyclist complained of pain to his left shoulder. He also sustained bruises to his right leg after crashing into a dark blue Honda Civic driven by Marsha Burke, who was travelling with one passenger in her car.

He was initially assisted at the scene by Rommel Holder, a passerby, who said he had first aid training. He was later transported to hospital by ambulance.

As a small crowd of curious onlookers gathered at the scene, one nearby resident told Barbados TODAY the area was prone to accidents, especially when it rains. He reported that as recent as last Monday, there was a collision a few metres away. (RT/RB)
