Javan Burton has been found and is now back home safe and sound.

A man who had been missing for 12 days has been found

Javan Devere Burton, 21, of Cane Garden Park, St. Thomas, who went missing on May 4, is now back home safe and sound.

In a press release from police public relations officer, Acting Assistant Superintendent David Welch, he thanked the public for their invaluable assistance in helping to locate Burton.

    Well it is good Javan is back at home safe . Missing persons often create confusion in the minds of citizens We go into a panic mood.

    Thank goodness, I was thinking the worst for this young man. Thankfully my fears didnt come through. Glad he’s back home safe.

      Kevin while you were thinking the worst, he could’ve been getting his freak on…. after the public has been summoned for assistance in locating a missing person, there should be some explanation as to their whereabouts and actions if and when they are found… this accountabilty could be a deterrent to those who just go off to satisy thier personal and sexual gratification, it could also shed some light on what’s going on inside the home and alert the community of the abuse and incest that may be the root cause… we dont need another apparent suicide
