Drugs destroyed

The police took a huge step in their fight against illegal drugs when they destroyed over 5,000 pounds of contraband today.

According to police public relations officer Acting Assistant Superintendent David Welch, 5173.41 pounds of cannabis and 204.6 pounds of cocaine were burnt in the Grantley Adams International Airport’s incinerator.

Additionally, 15,675 cannabis plants were destroyed during the operation.

The drugs were drawn from cases which had been adjudicated, the seizure of plants found under cultivation and from cases that were sampled according to the Evidence Act.

    How sure are we that ALL those drogues were actually Destroyed, who was guarding the Guards??
