Murder accused appears in court

One of the three men injured in last week’s police chase in St Peter has been charged with murder.

19-year-old Romario Oneil Boxill is accused of killing David Miller last Thursday.

Boxill who has no fixed address was also charged with the use of a firearm as he appeared in the District “D” Magistrates court this morning.

38-year-old Miller of Vaughn’s Land, No.1 St Joseph, died from gun shot wounds to his upper body.

Shortly after his death, police acted on a tip, which resulted in a chase in the Farley Hill area, that led to the car in which Boxill was an occupant overturning in Benny Hall.

Two other men who were also in the car are still warded at the Queen Elizabeth hospital after sustaining injuries in the accident.

Give him 40 years and he will still only be 59 when he comes out, make life terms mean LIFE, his victim wont ever get another chance at life, why should his killer ?

I hope that you see, the police officer didn’t cuffed or chain him . although he’s charge for murder. An you won’t be too critical of the police.

It is sad to see that these young people are just existing with no purpose for living, if we do not set standards for early we are going to fall for anything

    THAT WAS QUICK!

How come it didn’t take THIRTY (30) days for the Police to file a murder charge against this youngster?

And he had to walk to court, no ride to the court house in a Maroon Grand Vitara, no escort by a Superintendent, no request for bail?

What was so different about this guy? Oh yes, he is not a Police Officer charged with Murder!!!

Mr cadagon I really thought better if you after all these years of blogging….firstly the accused is a prisoner of the police so he would have been brought to court in a police vehicle secondly after being remanded he then becomes the property of the prison and he would then be transported in the prison vehicle thirdly the photograph that u are commenting on the vehicle in it just happens to be in the background when the picture was taken …man I really can believe bajans so backward and ignorant ….
