Vincentian trio facing drug charges

Three Vincentians who were found on a boat with a 30-pound bale of cannabis are expected to appear in court today.

Jomo Jalon Jack, 30; Allison Agustus Blugh, 31; and Kevin David Christopher Joe, 28, are facing four charges: possession, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation.

Around 2:45 a.m. on Wednesday, April 1, members of the Drug Squad assisted by members of the Marine Unit intercepted a speedboat about four nautical miles off Mullins, St Peter with the three men on board.

The bale of cannabis was confiscated.

    Jailed these for a loooooonnnng time, this nationality is who contribute heavily to the decay of our youth may they rot in jail.

    take a look at everytime a reggae show coming up there is an inflow of DRUGS into BDS. Its Reggae music and Cannabis , Calypso music and Rum. the difference is, RUM LEGAL but CANNABIS is ILLEGAL .
    Hurry up and fix the problem . Our PM said ” he don’t want to wake up one morning and discover that BDS importing CANNABIS from the USA.
