Ex-cop among trio nabbed for drugs

A former police officer and two other men are now on remand after appearing in the Oistins Magistrates Court today in connection with Monday’s drug bust off South Point, Christ Church.

The former lawman, 57-year-old David Leroy Cumberbatch of Venus Drive, Wotton, Christ Church, is jointly charged with 60-year-old Neville Oneal Cumberbatch of Suttle Street St Michael and 27-year-old Mekheal Jelani Dulal-Sealy of Skeetes Road, The Ivy, St Michael.

The trio is due to return to court of April 16, on charges of possession, possession with intent to supply and trafficking of 123 pounds of cannabis and 32 kilogrammes of cocaine.

    Families robbing banks is bad enough but when the law get caught up breaking the rules what are we suppose to tell our children teenagers and young adults when things get hard… The examples are becoming very few for the next Generation but God is working restoring integrity more bad apples will come out darkness cannot hide let us all make sure we clean our selves up not only physical but spiritually as well. I prayer these men have an encounter with God

    This Policeman was mixed up in something before. Cant remember if it caused him to leave the force. I think it was something to do with stolen cars from overseas .
