People coming down on the parent without knowing all the details.Although he was wrong, that must have been a reaction to what the teacher did to the pupil.

Some teachers still feel that they have a right to flog children, when the Law CLEARLY states that ONLY the Principal or a Senior Teacher designated by the Principal in WRITING ( booklet ), have that AUTHORITY,…not RIGHT !!

The parent has the RIGHT to tell the Principal , a Senior Teacher or a Teacher not to flog their child. The Principal ,the Senior Teacher or a Teacher has the RIGHT to DISCIPLINE a child.

What the parent should do is to find out what is the status of this teacher, and they same way the School put him before the Law Courts for assaulting the teacher,he can put the teacher before the Law Courts too.

    Get a Lawyer parent.

People does make me laugh, who would you prefer to flog the child teacher no matter the post or the police. Me think I prefer the teacher. If a child is not discipline at home he/she will be discipline elsewhere which will be worse for the child. The good book says you spear the rod and spoil the child.
