BT extends the love

Each year on February 14, many people exchange cards, candy, gifts or flowers with their special Valentine, the heart being the common symbol on all things on Valentine’s Day. And we at Barbados TODAY too demonstrated our love from the heart.

Holding our valued reading public as always in our hearts, we even went further, extending the love even more with our special Valentine’s promotion.

Via our interactive Facebook platform (https://www.facebook.com/BarbadosToday), we offered numerous prizes for the taking.

Kerryann Pilgrim and Tanya Grimes won $50 vouchers each, compliments of Chefette Restaurants Ltd. Ronnie Murrell won a chocolate and wine gift set, compliments of Nikko’s Creations, while Sherry-Ann Weekes collected her prize of a lingerie gift set, compliments of Costumetastic.

Barbados TODAY extends its sincerest thanks to other sponsors for the week’s activities: the West Indian Biscuit Co. Ltd, Bryden Stokes Ltd, Pharmacy Sales Caribbean and Promotech Inc. for their generous contributions, which were eagerly accepted by the schoolchildren from the BT team on its visit to Half Moon Fort Primary School and the lovely 102-year-old Aletha Beckles.
