Murder accused remanded


The two brothers and woman charged in connection with last Tuesday’s murder of St Thomas resident Lamar Carter have been remanded to prison until March 4.


A crowd turned out at the District “D” Magistrate’s Court this morning to witness the appearance of Fidel Nkomo Alleyne, 36, of #116 Denton Road, Grazettes, St Michael and Malissa Carla Griffith, 25, of Rochester Way, Grazettes, both of whom have been charged with murder.

Thirty-one-year old Javed Riad Alleyne of Rockley Village Road, Rockley, Christ Church – brother of Fidel – has been charged with assisting the offenders.

    Thanks to the Royal Barbados Police Force in capturing these convicts now it’s up to the courts to do they job. Congrats Officers job well done .
