OMG another one!!! This a daily occurrence but why should that be surprising as there is no deterrent. They want to abolish the death penalty which however has not be enforced for many years!!! Barbados is slowly falling apart and the ones in power just seem to don’t care all they making sure is they have their pensions secure!!! SMH!!!!!

My condolences to the family and friends but I getting to hate these alarmist statements people making it seems like every day in B’dos there is a murder or gun violence it is not true I too am concerned about the violence and as I said in another post one death or gun violence is one too many but we don’t need to spread such reckless and unnecessary fears

Barbados need to find out how these firearms are getting in. Pretty tough though being an
Island. They may need to set up cameras around the island in certain hot spots.

Have anyone notice the Bajan whites arent killing each other, neither are the Indians, who make up the rest of the population.

Another gun related death. Its about time that the law says anyone caught with a gun will be given 25 years in jail . Only the Police and military should have guns in Barbados.

To all the foreigners (inclusive of Bajans living abroad) who seem to think that Barbados is so bad now, worst than whichever state, country or island they are currently residing, and that they will no longer come to our island, do so without the fanfare.

You all are so ignorant and full of crap!

Yes we all should be concerned by the sudden upsurge of violent crimes being committed, but are we the worst?!

What are we doing as a people? Students are constantly taking weapons to school and going unpunished for whatever reasons, parents are cussing principals out on Facebook because they are reinforcing the school’s dress code, hence outlandish hairdos…our high profile leaders are robbing citizens of what is rightfully theirs(yes I am aware that this has been practiced for years) and when it reaches the public domain, the mule and goat in them comes out because those who holds the highest offices condones it.

I can go on and on about the major displays moral depletion, heartbreaking injustices targeted towards those ignorant of their civil and human rights etc.

Why should I uphold the law when those who should be policing are busy with capitalizing on their own personal illegal agendas? I can kill you and drive around with your body in the same vehicle until I ready to drop you off in some canal or dumping ground and not be worried too much because ya getting bail fa murder. And since you change the laws of the land to appoint who you want for Chief Justice yet the case loads are even more heavier…I would be out fa a while until my case calls…

Looka! some of you guys who responds to articles should really keep ya bloody mouths shut! wunna just depressing me more!

@ Bryan not you though, you keep them in check
